What is RMC Plant ERP?

RMC Plant ERP manages a ready-mix concrete operation end to end: order booking by grade, mix design and raw material consumption, batching plant data capture, transit mixer dispatch and tracking, cube test records, and grade-wise costing. It reconciles what the plant actually batched against what was ordered and billed.

How it works

From the floor to the ledger, without re-keying

Every step writes into the same record, so operations and finance never diverge.

Capabilities

What RMC Plant ERP does

The functionality operators use daily, not a feature checklist for a brochure.

Batching plant integration

Actual batch quantities pulled from the plant controller and reconciled against mix design and stock consumption.

Mix design management

Multiple designs per grade, with cost recalculated automatically as raw material rates change.

Order and slot scheduling

Orders booked by grade and quantity against plant capacity and mixer availability, with pour-time windows.

Transit mixer tracking

GPS-tracked dispatch with batch time, arrival time and return, protecting against placement disputes.

Grade-wise costing

True cost per cubic metre by grade after cement, aggregate, admixture, pumping and transport.

Cube test records

Seven and twenty-eight day test results stored against the batch and pour for an auditable quality trail.

Modules

Everything included in the box

Turn on what you need now and add the rest as you grow.

Order management

Grade-wise booking, scheduling against capacity, pour-time windows.

Mix design

Recipe versions per grade with automatic cost recalculation.

Batching integration

Actual batch capture from the plant controller with variance reporting.

Raw material inventory

Cement, aggregate, sand, admixture and fly ash stock with consumption reconciliation.

Dispatch & logistics

Transit mixer allocation, delivery challans, GPS tracking and return logging.

Pump management

Boom and line pump allocation, hours and pumping charges.

Quality control

Cube test scheduling, results and non-conformance tracking.

Finance & receivables

Customer billing, credit control, GST compliance and ageing.

Plant maintenance

Preventive schedules and breakdown history for plant and mixers.

Concrete is a perishable product with a paper trail

An RMC plant sells a product that has to be placed within a couple of hours of batching. That single constraint drives everything: scheduling, transit mixer allocation, and the disputes that follow when a load arrives late. Meanwhile the finance side has to work out margin on a product whose cost changes with every cement price revision and every mix design tweak.

RMC Plant ERP handles both sides. Operationally it schedules orders against plant capacity and mixer availability. Financially it costs each grade from actual consumption rather than from a standard recipe.

Plant data instead of plant reports

Batching plant controllers already record what was batched. The problem is that the record usually lives in the plant software and reaches accounts as a printed summary. Integration pulls actual batch data — quantities of cement, aggregate, sand, water and admixture per load — directly into the ERP. Consumption reconciles against stock automatically, and variance between design mix and actual mix is visible per batch.

Dispatch that holds up in a dispute

Each load carries a delivery challan with batch time, mix design, grade and quantity. Transit mixer GPS records departure and arrival. When a contractor claims a load arrived outside the placement window, there is a record rather than an argument.

Quality records tied to the pour

Cube test results at seven and twenty-eight days are recorded against the batch and the pour location, so both the plant and the contractor have a traceable quality history.

RMC Plant ERP in production

Cement variance was the number we could never explain. Comparing every batch against the design mix found it in the first month. That report alone justified the project.

Answers

RMC Plant ERP — frequently asked questions

What is RMC plant ERP software?

RMC plant ERP software runs a ready-mix concrete operation from order booking through batching, dispatch and collection. It captures actual batch data from the plant controller, reconciles raw material consumption against mix design, tracks transit mixers, records cube tests and calculates true cost per cubic metre by grade.

Can it integrate with our existing batching plant?

Most common plant automation controllers can be integrated so actual batch quantities flow into the ERP automatically. During discovery an engineer confirms your controller make and model and validates the data path before scoping the work.

How does it help control cement consumption?

Actual batched quantities are compared against the approved mix design for every load. Persistent positive variance on cement shows up as a report rather than as an unexplained stock shortfall at month-end, which is usually when manual operations discover it.

Does it handle pumping charges separately?

Yes. Boom and line pumps are allocated to orders with hours recorded, and pumping is billed either as a separate line or built into the delivered rate, depending on how you contract.

Can we run multiple plants on one system?

Yes. Multi-plant deployments share customers, mix designs and fleet while keeping plant-wise inventory, costing and profitability, with a consolidated group view for management.
